 The Therapists
Jane Winterbottom

Jane is the founder of the Holistic Centre in Deia and is also the kinesiologist. Jane started studying kinesiology in 2004 at the Wessex School of Kinesiology in Bristol, UK and has also studied and integrated many other therapies into her treatments alongside kinesiology including naturopathy, food intolerance testing, nutrition, homeopathy, Bach’s flower formulas, Chinese medicine and Namprudipad’s Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET).

Jane discovered kinesiology through her own ill health about 11 years ago and had been told by her doctor that she had an incurable disease and would have to take medication for the rest of her life. She had been on a long journey, regaining her health using various complementary treatments including acupuncture, homeopathy, Reiki, nutrition, yoga and Chinese medicine, when she went to see a kinesiologist, who suggested that Jane should follow a food elimination diet and be tested for certain supplements using muscle testing (kinesiology) to aid the body in its’ own healing process. This whole process was fascinating to Jane, and the fact that her body knew exactly what it needed to regain her health back. Every day she started to feel healthier….until she was completely symptom free and no longer needed to take her medication. This was Jane’s inspiration to study and become a kinesiologist so that she could help other people to recover from illness.

Jane speaks English and Spanish.

Gwyneth Morgan Garton

Gwyneth was born in rural Ibiza.

In her early twenties she felt a need to find a way of life that integrated what she loved and what she needed. She found it in the Barn community and in Gaia House in Devon, retreat centers that beautifully combined life in community, working on the land and spiritual practice. She also learnt meditation, reiki and permaculture, with Patrick Whitefield in Worcestershire College of Agriculture.

Missing the land she grew up in, she came back to Spain. She worked in Can Rupit, a centre for growth and healing through nature, body and soul centered psychotherapy, varied workshops and community. She also trained as a massage therapist at ESTENA, Palma, Mallorca in 2001.

Gwyneth has a university degree in physiotherapy from the “Universitat de les Illes Balears” (completed in 2012). This period also coincided with serious health challenges of loved ones, leading to the discovery of a unique therapy called the
AN-DI Energetic Corrector. These experiences confirmed to her the importance of integrated healthcare (conventional and complementary medicine), which remains the focus of her interest today.

Gwyneth is currently certified to use the AN-DI Energetic Corrector, which is particularly useful in helping the body to overcome health challenges as wide ranging as Lyme disease, fibromyalgia and cancer.

Gwyneth speaks English, Spanish, Catalan and French.
